ARGH...I'm SO GLAD the kids go back to school tomorrow! Shannon is driving me NUTS!
She "sorted" her books which resulted in PILES & PILES of unwanted books (Many of them MINE) stacked all over her room & in the garbage, which she then abandoned causing ME to have to finish it & salvage the ones that were mine or that were good enough to give away.
THEN, her friend was here & they wanted a photo album out of my room. Fine, except they succeeded in breaking the shelves THOSE were on & send albums, photos & scrapbooking stuff cascading all over the floor in a jumble!
Then I'm making dinner & she's whining shes hungry & looking in every cupboard for a snack which I already told her she couldn't have!
ARGH...I finally lost my cool & just screamed at her. A great release, but I always feel bad for doing that.
Isn't it bedtime yet??

Its getting close to bed time. You can go look at her while she is sleeping peacefully and enjoy your little angel. Some days thats the only time we parents can enjoy our kids. LOL

Hey Misty,
The kids here went back today and of course it was hard to get my darling up this morning. When she got home from school she told me how hard the first full day back was after having half days and then Thurs. and Friday off. She was just so darned tired that she didn't want to go to bed tonight, interesting..... Sounds like you had a fun day. Wow, one mess after another for Mom to clean up. Becca's had good intentions before resulting in disaster too. I know how you feel. Your not the only one that raises your voice sometimes. We all loose it sometimes. I'm sure tomorrow will be a much better day for you. Hugs to ya.

You know what.... I think kids need to see their parents when they "have had it" with their behavior. Otherwise, how would they know when they are "pushing it"?? Don't feel bad you yelled Misty. There isn't a parent out there who hasn't yelled at one time or another. Hugs to you!

Oh no not the picture pile I have one of those! I'm sorry well you had every right to get upset and yell if you didn't you be bottling up into an ulcer or some kind of expensive medical problem you don't need. Plus if you never yelled or got mad how would she know how to react to adults in the work place or a cashier at the store or even in life and death situations! don't feel bad it's healthy gotta go to work now bye
