I ran across this Mom's blog regarding her autistic son. I couldn't stop reading. Here is a little snippet of it. Saturday, March 26, 2005So He Can't Change His Spots This morning Bud and I were playing a matching game - turn over two cards that are the same and you get to take another turn. After a while he began to lose interest and just started turning all the cards over to try to find a match. "You can't do that," I told him. "That's cheating." "I'm not a cheater," he replied calmly. "I'm a leopard." #c_laugh73-vi# momnos.blogspot.com/

I read everything on that page and went to the archives. I didn't want to stop reading.
I love the way his "I love you" has so many different meanings. It put every one of those instances in perspective, so in a way, it did have one meaning and he found it. ' I think I fell in love with that precious little guy.

That Mom is such a good writer. I felt I could envision exactly how her son is by her descriptions. And yes, I think i fell in love with the little guy too.
I remember reading somewhere about how aspergers children think. It went something like this: Question: "Did you mop up the coffee you spilt on the carpet?" - Answer: "No, it was too wet." #00AF1Dog0054HL3# How could you be mad with an answer like that! #00ROFLOL#

Yes, I did - I read it all! Now I can't wait to see what she writes next.
