OK, I just HAD to post this article because its a REALLY good one!What are “Risk” and “Resilience?” When parents of a child with learning disabilities (LD) think about the child’s prospects for future success and satisfaction in life, they may feel hopeful one day and discouraged the next. Very Interesting article ~ I forwarded it to my SIL, she's a special ed teacher in TX. She was one of the runner up's for Teacher of the Year for TX. She was acknowledged as TY (Teacher of the Year) in her District recently.

Its frightening to know our kids are at risk because of a disability but its encouraging to know that we can work on our kid's resilience so the risk factor is lessened.
